Answers to common questions about IT support, backups, audits, implementation and working with XTrust Solutions.
Frequently asked questions
How do I start working with you?
The simplest way: write to us through the form on the Contact page, or order a free analysis - you answer a few questions about your systems, backups and maintenance, and we point out where it is worth starting.
After discussing scope and needs we prepare an individual quote.
How can I contact you?
The fastest way is the form on the Contact page; you can also e-mail or call - the details are in the page footer.
Customers with a support agreement report issues through the channel and within the response time set in their agreement. If you are reporting a problem with a service running for you, describe what it concerns (the service, since when, what you see on screen) - it shortens the response time.
How much does implementation cost, and is pricing individual?
Implementation and automation projects are priced individually - after a scoping conversation or a free analysis, always before you commit. The analysis of one process is free. Ongoing IT care is billed under the model agreed in the contract.
How long does implementation take?
It depends on scope - simple implementations, such as the backup system, usually take a few business days. Larger projects are scheduled individually during the quote stage.
Is my data safe?
We design for data security from the start. Backups travel over an encrypted connection, and you are notified about every run - successful or not. Where possible, data does not have to leave your company at all: our products also run on-premises.
Access, storage and responsibilities are set out in the agreement (including a data processing agreement where needed).
Can I see the products in action before buying?
Yes. For XTrust Freight, just send us your tender file - we will return the result for your lanes before you decide. Demos of software distribution and the website platform are arranged individually (this site runs on our platform).
You can sign up for the XTrust Guard launch now - we will let you know when it is available.

Do you offer ongoing IT support?
Yes. Our IT support for business service covers helpdesk plus server and network administration - on clear, contractual terms. We solve users' problems on site and remotely, and also cover IT security, backup management and technology consulting.
How does the backup system work?
Our software backs up databases (including SQL Server, MySQL and PostgreSQL) and files on an agreed schedule, sends them over an encrypted connection to a remote location and prunes old copies according to retention rules. You get an e-mail about every run - successful or not.
We deploy and configure the system and make sure the backups actually run.
What does an IT audit involve?
The audit covers network and system security analysis, server and workstation configuration review, backup and recovery procedure verification, software licensing checks and a performance analysis. You receive a report with recommendations and an action plan.
What is XTrust Freight?
XTrust Freight calculates a transport tender from one file: you import the tender spreadsheet (xlsx, xlsm, csv) with automatic column recognition and get kilometres, driving time and road tolls for every lane - split by country and currency, with routes over ferry crossings. The result goes to an Excel report; routes can be exported to GPX, KML and GeoJSON. Hosted by us or on-prem, with a client portal.
The best test is your own data: write to us through the Contact page and mention your tender file - we will send back the result for your lanes.
Automation
What can be automated?
We automate the processes that today live "in Excel and e-mail":
- spreadsheet imports and processing - loading xlsx/csv files with column recognition, validation and a run report,
- report generation - recurring Excel summaries built from system data,
- scheduled jobs - exports, data clean-up, notifications,
- integrations between systems - data exchange through APIs,
- automatic event handling - e.g. sending a document right after an event in a system.
Tell us which process you want to hand to a machine - we start with an analysis. More examples are on the Process automation page.
Do you use AI in automation?
Yes - where it speeds up the work, never in place of control. Every AI-assisted task has an approved plan, a responsible person on your side and a full change history. The scope of access to your systems is agreed in writing before we start.
We show the details in a meeting - start with a free analysis.
Implementation and integrations
What does an implementation look like?
- A free analysis or a conversation - we learn the problem, systems and needs, and tell you plainly what makes sense.
- A proposed solution and a quote - a ready product, a deployment at your site or automation of an existing process; priced individually, before you decide.
- Delivery and handover - hosted by us or on-prem; simple implementations take a few business days.
- Maintenance and updates - after go-live we stay on clear, contractual terms.
Do the services run with you or with us (on-prem)?
- Website platform - online only, on our infrastructure; maintenance and updates are on us.
- XTrust Freight, the backup system and automations - hosted by us or on your servers.
- On-prem software distribution - by definition delivers software to your customers' servers over a secure update channel.
- XTrust Guard - a local Windows application; data never leaves the device.
Do you integrate with our systems?
Yes. We integrate systems through APIs so that information entered once is never retyped elsewhere; where there is no API we work with file imports (xlsx/csv) and scheduled jobs. The scope and method are agreed during the analysis.
Cooperation and pricing
On what terms do we work together?
We work on clear, contractual terms: scope, response time and the way we communicate are written into the agreement. Every project is priced individually after discussing scope. After go-live we provide ongoing care and responsive communication.
What is the free analysis?
The free analysis is a short questionnaire about your systems, access, backups and maintenance. Based on it we point out where an audit, automation or an implementation will bring the most and propose first steps - in a reply from us, with no obligation.
Order it with the Order a free analysis button on the service pages.
Technical support
What support do product customers get?

If you are looking for ongoing care of your company's entire IT, see IT support for business.
